What does the Advisory Committee do?

1. Communicate and carry the mission of the foundation to others

2. Participate in the organization as a donor

3. Support special events planning and day of event activities

4. Introduce close friends and family members to the foundation

5. Provide direction, leadership and new ideas

How often does the Advisory Committee meet?

The Advisory Committee  meets quarterly to provide input and direction in support of special events, appeals and other development-related activities.  Most meetings are held at WCRF Corporate headquarters in Newport Beach, CA.  But occasionally we go on a ‘field trip’ and host a meeting at a venue under consideration for an event.  Most committee meetings are during lunch time (lunch is provided) but occasionally we host a pot-luck or other ‘themed’ committee meeting event.
