Letter from the Chairman
Women’s Cancer Research Foundation
The Women’s Cancer Research Foundation (WCRF) medically, scientifically and financially continues to grow and achieve unprecedented clinical trial success. The WCRF is the “go-to” research group that pharmaceutical and biotech companies seek out when new medications to treat gynecologic and breast cancers are developed. We have created a successful clinical trial research model that includes meticulous/accurate data management systems and proven peer-reviewed publication in medical journals. These companies understand that the WCRF is the most efficient, effective and successful avenue to get these new drugs into the clinical setting so women can access newer potentially more promising treatments.
The WCRF greatly appreciates the support of our philanthropic donors and supporters. As we continue to increase the number of clinical trials we open each year, the promise of more successful treatment options brings hope to women afflicted with these challenging cancers. The WCRF depends on the combined funding from biotech companies, grants and private donor support. Without this vital financial support we would not have the funds necessary to ask and answer the key questions that are core to our mission in our search for a cure for women’s cancers.
Medicine is advancing as fast the computer technology. The WCRF is key in taking those advances and applying them to clinical trials to improve the cure rates of women with gynecologic and breast cancer. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,

John Paul Micha, M.D.
